task 1: Giving Advice   

开头语：There are several things you should do when you propose to your girlfriend. Frist of all, 措施1 + 可能的结果。and then, 措施2+可能的结果。 and then，措施3+可能的结果。 

task 2: Talking about a Personal Experience

一次学校举行的歌咏比赛中，老师推荐我做全班大合唱的指挥，虽然我是第一次做指挥，但是全班同学信任我，老师相信我，最后我们班在比赛中取得第三名，对我来说是一次非常难忘的学校生活。

Many years ago,In a singing competition held in the school, the teacher recommended me to be the conductor of the whole class chorus. Although it was my first time to conduct, the whole class trusted me and the teacher believed in me. In the end, our class won third place in the competition. It was a very unforgettable school life for me.

Last June, I traveled to New York for threeweeks and during this trip, I met Linda. She was an old amercian lady who lives inBrooklyn. She was optimistic and brave,although she was a senior but she was viogrous, but she lived alone in an apartment.She got lost at a subway station at that time, and I helped her find the direction of the subway station. She said she wants to adopt a pet dog from a pet store, and I helped her find that pet store. She selected a cute dog fromabout 10 pet dogs and adopted it back. She gave me a bag as a thank-you gift.This was an interesting experience.

Task 3:描述一个图片Describing a Scene

This is a picture that desicribes a street scene in India. In the foreground, I can see a man on a motorcycle driving down the middle of a road and a woman crossing the road carrying bags in her right hand. In the background, there are 2 story buildings that follow the curved road. People are walking on the side of the road beside the buildings. In the middle area, I can see a man who is peddling on a bicycle towards the man on the motorcycle and a woman crossing the street. There is a rickshaw driver resting on his rickshaw seat. It is a very busy street.

Task 4: Making Predictions  

思路：概述；方位+人物(限定从句)+be going to do；

This is a picture that desicribes a street scene in India. (1) The woman carrying a bag in the foreground of the picture will go home and take a long rest in front of the television after her busy day. Her favorite show starts at 6:00 p.m. (2) The man who is driving the motorcycle in the foreground is going to crash into the man on the bicycle coming the other way. Then many people will rush to the scene of the accident and yell ‘the man on the motorcycle is at fault’, ‘bring him to jail’.  (3) The rickshaw driver in the middle area of the picture will have had his rest, and now he is going to start peddling looking for new customers.

Task 5: Comparing and Persuading

思路：总--分--总； 比较形式；

That is a good-looking office space you have chosen, boss, but I have another one for you to consider. My choice of office space is a little more modern than yours. Look at all the natural light be will have. Do you want your employees to work under fluorescent lighting? Our buildings have the same number of sq. feet at 12000, so they are similar in this aspect. However, although the rent is a little more expensive with my choice, there are two ways for the employees to get to work, bus and train, whereas your office space only allows for taking a bus. The employees will appreciate these options. So, I think it should my choice is better.

在一些国家中是合理的，可以降低费用，加深关系---On the other hand, in some countries traditional cultures it is customary for adult children to live at home until they get married. I believe that this is perfectly reasonable and has a lot of benefits as well. One reason is that the cost of living is so high these days. So, if adult children continue to live at home, it gives them the chance to save money for their future. It is also a good way to develop and strengthen family bonds and relationships between parents and their adult children.

In my case, I lived at home in my twenties as well and it was a really good experience. I didn’t exactly pay rent but I cooked dinner for everyone 3 days a week and did weekly household chores including vaccuming and laundry. I’m really grateful to my parents because I was able to save money while I lived at home and it helped me save up to buy my own place.”
